Cashless Claims
A cashless claim can be made during emergencies like hospitalization or when medical treatment is required. In order to avail of this facility, the policyholder should inform the insurer and file a claim.
Once the claim is filed and approved, the medical bills will be settled by the insurer. This way, the policyholder need not worry about footing the bill when discharged from the hospital.

For dialing a UIFN number you need to dial the international access code of the country of origin + UIFN number. For example, if the UIFN number is 800 80008400, then dial the international access code + 800 8000 8400.
For e.g.: The international access code for the UK is 00, so it will be dialed as 00 800 8000 8400 from the UK.
Reimbursement Claims
Another common claims process is the reimbursement claims process, wherein you can pay out of their pocket and then file a claim for reimbursement. If the conditions are met and all the documents are in order, then the insurer will reimburse the amount spent by you.
However, you must keep the originals and copies of all the expenses incurred in the forms of bills and receipts. These documents will be verified and then the claim will be settled.
