Usually, there is a waiting period to avail of benefits from any policy. In the case of the Corona Rakshak policy, the waiting period is set as 15 days, which usually starts from the date you make a purchase of this policy. Which means that if you get infected by the COVID-19, 15 days after purchasing the policy, you will be covered for your medical expenses. However, you cannot avail any benefits if you are hospitalized within 15 days of purchasing this policy.
